Ingredients

  • Blue Cheese Dressing
  • 3/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled (can be substituted with asiago or swiss or a combination of both)
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3/4 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp mustard powder
  • 1/4 Tbsp black pepper
  • 1/4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 Tbsp Frank’s Red Hot
  • 1/4 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • Blue Cheese Mashed Potatoes
  • 10 baking potatoes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Blue Cheese Dressing

1. Mix ingredients together and set aside.

Blue Cheese Mashed Potatoes

1. Preheat grill.

2. Peel and place potatoes in a large pot of water.

3. Bring to boil and cook for about 20 minutes, until potatoes are fork tender.

4. Grill flank steaks for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until steaks reach an internal temperature of 125°F.

5. Drain potatoes and mash, leaving lumps.

6. Add blue cheese dressing and finish mashing.

7. When no longer lumpy, add salt and pepper, to taste.
