- 2 c low sodium chicken
- 2 T carrot or celery finely chopped
- 1 t onion salt
- pepper if desired
- 1 egg, beaten

Step 1
Add all ingredients except the egg to small saucepan and heat to boiling, then reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 5 min. Beat egg just until frothy, then pour slowly from a spoon into the hot simmering soup. Top with a bit of fresh hives if desired.
