Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3/4 cup diced onion
  • 3/4 cup diced celery
  • 3/4 cup diced green pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (10.75 oz) cans tomato puree
  • 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans with liquid
  • 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (15 oz) can cannellini beans with liquid
  • 1/2 T chili powder
  • 1/2 t dried parsley
  • 1 t salt
  • 3/4 t dried basil
  • 3/4 t dried oregano
  • 1/4 t ground black pepper
  • 1/8 t hot pepper sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Place the beef in a skillet over medium heat and cook until evenly brown. Drain grease.
Place the beef in a slow cooker and add the rest of the ingredients.
Cover and cook 8 hours on Low.
