Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 3 cups unsifted cake flour
- 1 cup unsifted flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2/3 cup hersheys cocoa
- 1/3 cup milk

Step 1
IF YOU DON'T HAVE CAKE FLOUR, ADD 2 TEASPOONS CORNSTARCH FOR EACH OF 3 CUPS OF ALL PURPOSE FLOUR. DO NOT ADD CORNSTARCH TO THE 4TH CUP OF FLOUR.
Beat at LOW speed first 11 items for 5 minutes
Then add 6 eggs one at a time, add 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Beat MEDIUM speed 5 minutes
Bake 325 degrees for 40 minutes, then at 350-20 minutes. I make this in a tube pan sprayed with non-stick oil and coat pan with flour.
PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE FROSTING.
Melt butter, stir in cocoa, alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating on MEDIUM speed to spreading consistency. Add more milk if needed stir in vanilla.
