Basic Waffles
I will never use another waffle recipe again! I put all the ingredients into a blender to mix and baked beautiful, light and crisp waffles. I even used all whole wheat flour, and they were still light and wonderful.

- 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs lightly beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
1. Preheat waffle iron to 400 degrees.
2. Combine all ingredients. blend until smooth.
3. Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour batter onto waffle iron (one heaping cup for a waffle iron that makes four).
4. Let waffles bake for 3 minutes, depending on desire doneness. repeat with remaining batter
