  • 1 box of fudge brownie mix (9x13)
  • 2, 8 ounce packages of cream cheese, room temp
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp of vanilla
  • 34 ounce tube of chocolate chip cookie dough

Preparation

Step 1

follow the brownie box directions and poor brownie batter into a greased 9x13 pan.
Mix cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla until well blended and spoon evenly on top of brownie mix layer.
bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes
while brownie cheesecake is baking, roll out cookie dough into a 8x12 rectangle and cut into 4 equal parts (easier to lift). when brownie cheesecake timer goes off, take out of the oven and place the cookie layer on top of the cheesecake layer, one piece at a time until evenly laying over entire center of cheesecake. Place back in the oven for an additional 25 minutes. check while this is baking to make sure the cookie edges are not burning. If they start to get to dark, place foil around the edges until it is finished cooking. test center when done with a cake tester. cool completely, and then place in the fridge. Cut into squares when it is cold.
