Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Cooking Sherry
- 3/4 Cup Dark Corn Syrup
- 3/4 stick of butter (you can use the whole thing if you are channeling your inner Paula Deen)
- 1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 1.5 HEAPING tsp cinnamon
- 6-8 medium sweet potatoes (unpeeled)

Step 1
Combine ingredients, minus potatoes, and cook on medium to medium low for 10-15 minutes.
Bring sweet potatoes to a boil, cook 25 minutes. Drain from water, peel and cut in to quarters. Place in a Pyrex dish - or dish that is oven/stovetop safe.
Pour liquid mixture over potatoes in the dish, baste frequently.
