French Toast Bake

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 sticks butter
• 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 loaf toasting bread (thick sliced)
• 6 eggs
• 2 cups milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• maple syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Mix first 3 ingredients together and spread in bottom of 13x9 pan.

Cut off crusts of bread and place in pan.

Mix next 3 ingredients together and pour over bread.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Pour maple syrup on top and broil for 2-5 minutes (be careful!)
