Ingredients
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 pippin or Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1 tbsp. each: balsamic vinegar and honey
- Grilled or baked salmon, chicken or pork
- 1 tbsp. snipped fresh basil

Step 1
Heat olive oil in a small nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add apples and cook over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes or until softened. Stir in vinegar and honey and cook for a minute or two more.
Serve over salmon, chicken or pork and top with snipped basil.
