Ingredients
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. cornflakes, slightly crushed
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 c. quick Quaker oats (dry)
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 Tbsp. hot water
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. salted Spanish peanuts (small)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation
Step 1
Cream sugar and shortening. Add beaten eggs, hot water with soda. Have all dry ingredients mixed (baking powder with flour) and stir them into the mixture above. Form into tiny galls according to size of cookie desired. Press flat, place into buttered cookie sheet and bake.
