  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla, eggs and sour cream to bowl and mix until combined.
Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix until almost combined.
Add 1-1/2 cups of chocolate chips and stir until combined, being careful not to overmix.
Pour batter into greased 9x13 pan and sprinkle evenly with remaining chocolate chips.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center removes cleanly.
