Ingredients

1 C butter
3/4 C sugar
1 t baking soda
1 C flour
2 C quick oatmeal
1 egg yolk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Melt butter and cool. Mix in sugar. Add baking soda, flour and oatmeal. Stir thoroughly. Beat egg yolk and add. Grease cookie sheet. Make small balls of dough and place on cookie sheet. Press down with fork in criss/cross pattern.

Bake 10-12 minutes.
