There are many methods for cold and hot canning available on the internet. If you're not sure, run a search and print instructions for especially something like this. I would put "canning pickles" or something to that effect. These women before us knew what they were doing already so there weren't additional instructions as to how to can or how long to let your cans sit before using. Shawna Nero Newton

Ingredients

  • 6 quarts cold water
  • 1 c.salt
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 clove garlic (each jar)
  • 1 small dry red pepper (each jar)
  • 1 pint of dill (each jar)
  • Cucumbers

Preparation

Step 1

Mix water, salt and vinegar. Stir until dissolved. Chop dill and pepper and add garlic. Put cucumbers in jar and pur mixture over medium cucumbers. Seal.
