Ingredients

  • 2 C butter
  • 2 C brown sugar
  • 2 C sugar
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1 t salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 t vanilla
  • 1/2 t cinnamon
  • 1/4 cardamom
  • 4 1/2 C flour
  • 3 C white chocolate chips
  • 3 C rolled oats

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter. When cool, mix in white and brown sugar. Add baking powder, baking soda, salt, eggs, vanilla and spices. Add flour in 1/2 C increments. Then add chips--then oatmeal. Dough will be quite stiff.

Drop by teaspoons onto a greased sheet. Flatten cookies on the sheet with a greased spatula.

Bake at 350 degrees for 11 - 13 minutes. Cool on sheets for 1-2 minutes.
