  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 2 Tbsp. each low-sodium soy sauce and creamy peanut butter
  • 1 Tbsp. chili garlic sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. toasted sesame oil
  • HEAT:
  • 1 Tbsp. peanut oil
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 Tbsp. each minced fresh garlic and ginger
  • 1/2 cup minced fresh cilantro
  • Cooked stir-fry noodles or spaghetti
  • Chopped dry-roasted peanuts

Preparation

Step 1

Whisk together broth, sherry, soy sauce, peanut butter, chili garlic sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Heat peanut oil in a wok or large skillet over medium high. Add ground pork and stir-fry until cooked through, crushing with a potato masher to break up chunks, 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and ginger; stir-fry 1 minute. Stir in broth mixture; simmer until thickened, 1–2 minutes more. Stir in cilantro.

Serve Dan Dan Pork over noodles and garnish with peanuts.
