Ingredients
- Unsalted butter - 1 pound (or four sticks)
- Granulated Sugar - 1 pound 4 ounces
- Salt - 2 teaspoons
- Eggs - 2
- Vanilla - 1 Tablespoon
- Whole Milk - 4 ounces
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- All-purpose Flour - 1 pound 4 ounces
- Cake Flour - 1 pound 4 ounces

Preparation
Step 1
Mix butter and add sugar.
Combine all dry ingredients together in a separate bowl - set aside.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Alternate dry ingredients with milk mixing well.
Divide dough into fourths. Roll dough out...freeze between two sheets of saran wrap. When ready to bake cookies take out a sheet of dough, thaw for a few minutes, cut cookies and then refreeze for about 15 minutes.
If you want to bake your cookies right away, roll out dough, cut cookies and freeze cookies for at least 15 minutes before baking.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 24 minutes; rotate pans halfway.
