Ingredients
- 2-3 lbs chuck roast, cut into chunks 1-2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1-2 bay leaves
- 1 medium onion, chopped dash allspice or cloves
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika salt, red pepper to taste
- 6 carrots, quartered 4 medium size potatoes

Step 1
This can be cooked in a crock-pot overnight. Place first ten ingredients in crock-pot and add enough water to cover. Cook on low setting overnight. The following morning add potatoes and carrots; continue cooking for about 4-5 hours or until potatoes are tender.
Hint: You can brown lightly floured meat before placing in pot. This will give you a thicker gravy.
