Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp minced ginger
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp smooth Dijon mustard
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp fresh ground Sichuan or black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup dark sesame oil
- 1/2 cup canola or corn oil
- 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp chilli paste (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl whisk together ginger, garlic, mustard, vinegar, pepper, salt and sugar. Slowly add sesame oil. Add canola oil in a stream the width of a pencil, whisking constantly. Whisk in chilli paste if you like.
Store dressing in covered container in the refrigerator. The dressing will keep for up to 2 weeks.
