Ornament Clay-Dough

Ingredients

•  4 cups all purpose flour
•  1 cup salt
•  1 1/2 cup water
•  food coloring

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour, salt, water, and food coloring in a large bowl. Squeeze dough in your hands until it is smooth. If clay is too dry, add water one drop at a time, if it is too wet sprinkle with flour. Store in a plastic bag.

Decorating:

Shape clay like snowman, bells, stars, candy canes, etc. Leave a hole at the top for hanging.

Buttons, yarn, and beads can be glued to clay.

Oven dry at least 1 hour at 225.

Paint with bright colors

Protect by painting with clear nail polish after the paint is dry.
