Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1 head lettuce
- 1 can bean sprouts, drained
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 can water chestnuts, drained
- 3-4 hard boiled eggs, sliced
- 1/2 lb bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tsp Worcestershire
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- Toss dressing with salad just before serving.
- Oil & Vinegar Salad Dressing
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- freshly ground pepper
- dash of salt
- 2-3 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Step 1
Combine ingredients in small bowl and mix well. Let stand at room temperature several hours before using. This makes enough for one good sized head of romaine lettuce. Add crotons, fresh mushrooms, red onion slices, etc to lettuce before tossing with dressing.
