Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 c. cold milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 stick butter
  • Sugar & cinnamon
  • Pecans, crumbled
  • 1 round tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. fatty butter

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 c. lukewarm water with sugar.

Add beaten egg, milk, salt and flour. Roll out 1/4" thick. Spread with butter and roll. Roll out twice more and spread with butter each time.

Refrigerator 1/2 hour. Roll out to about 24" length and spread with butter and add sugar/cinnamon mixture. Roll up like a jelly roll and cut into slices. Prepare topping: put crubled pecans, sugar and 1/2 fatty butter with a little Karo syrup.

Bake 400 oven.
