Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 28 oz jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 12 oz can biscuits
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tbsp parmesan

Step 1

Heat oven to 400. Brown beef in large skillet over med heat until thoroughly cooked. Drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and pepper; cover. Reduce heat; simmer in minutes.
Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Press or roll biscuit to form 4-inch round. In small bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, parsley flakes, onion and basil; blend well. Place about 3 tbsp cheese mix on each biscuit round. Fold dough in half over filling; press edges with fork to seal.
Pour hot meat mixture into ungreased 123x9 glass baking dish; arrange filled biscuits on top. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 400 for 15-18 min or until biscuits are golden brown.
