- 1/2 c. spry (shortening?)
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. soda dissolved in 1/4 c. hot water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. ground coconut
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
