VACUUM CLEANER COOKIES

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter or margarine
• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 3 eggs
• 1 pkg. cream cheese
• 1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup flaked coconut
• 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans chopped

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine butter, cake mix, and 1 egg
2. Stir together until dry ingredients are moistened.
3. Pat mixture into bottom of well-greased 15 x 10” jelly roll pan or 13 x 9” pan.
4. Beat remaining 2 eggs lightly; then beat in cream cheese and powdered sugar.
5. Stir in coconut and nuts.
6. Pour over mixture in jellyroll pan, spread evenly.
7. Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Cool pan on wire rack to room temperature.
9. Cut into bars.
