Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in water and add milk, butter, sugar and salt. Stir in the flour or enough to make a dough that may be rolled. Cover the bowl with a folded towel and allow to rise in a warm place for 45 mins. or until doubled in bulk. Then turn on a floured baord or cloth and roll into an oblong sheet, about 1/2" thick. Brush with melted butter and cut in three strips. Cut each of these into six strips, roll up and place in greased muffin tins. Butter the tops and allow to rise in a warm place for 25 mins. Bake in hot, 410-425 oven for 15 mins. or until done. Butter the tops upon removing from the oven before serving.
