Ingredients

1 1/4 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup white sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2 tbsp. hot water
4 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. salt
3 cups oatmeal
1 pkg. choc. chips

Preparation

Step 1

Mix shortening and sugars together till creamy. Add vanilla, eggs and cream. Add hot water. Add flour, soda and salt. Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips. Bake immediately.

10 to 12 minutes @ 350*
