Fudge Mallow Cookie Bars

Ingredients

• 350 degree oven
• 3/4 C packed flour
• 3/4 C sugar
• 1/2 t salt
• 1/2 C softened butter
• 2 eggs
• 2 - 1 oz. square unsweetened chocolate
• 1 t vanilla
• 1/2 C chopped walnuts
• 10.5 oz. miniature marshmallows
• 2 C semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Melt chocolate. Let cool. Combine flour, sugar and salt. Beat at low speed. Add softened butter. Mix well. Add eggs. Mix well. Add cooled chocolate. Add vanilla and nuts. Mix thoroughly.

Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Pour in batter and smooth top.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Take from oven and pour 3/4 of a 10.5 oz bag of marshmallows in a single layer.

Cover with foil for 20 minutes so marshmallows melt. After 20 minutes, melt 2 C choc. chips in microwave (2 min.)Stir and spread over marshmallows.
