Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 slices ciabatta.
  • 4 oz sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz sliced prosciutto

Preparation

Step 1

Whisk together olive oil, vinegar, oregano, garlic salt and pepper in a small bowl.
Arrange slices of bread on a flat work surface and spread the vinaigrette on one side of each slice. Divide mozzarella evenly among 4 slices. Top with prosciutto, then place rest of slices on top, face down. Heat a grill pan over medium. Add sandwiches and cook, pressing, until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted. or, use a panini press.
