Jim's Crispy Extra-Chocolaty Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup butter, softened
• 6 tbsp sugar
• 6 tbsp. brown sugar
• 3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
• 2 egg whites
• 1 cup + 2 tbsp. flour
• 1/2 tsp. baking soda
• 1 8-oz. pkg. chocolate chips (too Many)
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and sugars. Stir in vanilla and egg whites Gradually stir in flour and soda. Add chocolate chips and, if desired, nuts. Drop by rounded tsp. onto greased cookie sheets Bake about 10 min.

Put less than cup of choc. chips.
Leave lots of room to spread.
Have used milk choc. and peanut butter chips.
