  • 5 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 packages Jell-O Vanilla Instant Pudding (5.1 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 Tbsps. lemon juice
  • Whipped cream, for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, whisk together whole milk and sweetened condensed milk. Add dry pudding to mixture, continue to whisk until powder combines with milk mixture to become thick and smooth. Place pudding in airtight container in the refrigerator to chill until firm — the pudding should take about 30 minutes to set. While the pudding is chilling, whip heavy cream aggressively to get stiff peaks. In a separate bowl, slice the bananas into quarter-sized pieces and toss with lemon juice. After pudding has set and chilled, fold in whipped cream and sliced bananas. Refrigerate to chill again for at least 30 minutes. Garnish with dobs of whipped cream immediately before serving.
