Ingredients

  • To make in the oven:
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 8 inch skillet with lid
  • eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon of Water per muffin cup

Preparation

Step 1

Fill skillet almost full with water. Add vinegar and salt and place over high heat. Break each egg into a ramekin. When water has just started to boil, remove from heat. Place ramekin low to the water and allow each egg to float out into the water. Cover the skillet and allow to sit for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, remove eggs from water using a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel lined plate to drain.

Oven Method:
Preheat oven to 350. Break 1 egg into a cup. Place 1 Tablespoon of water in each standard muffin cup then add a cracked egg. Repeat this for however many poached eggs you want to make. Bake for 11-13 minutes.
