Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 batch of Denise's taco seasoning
- 2 cans Southwest Style diced tomatoes, half drained
- 1 chopped onion
- garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 4 oz (half of 8-oz package) cream cheese
- 16oz bag medium shell pasta
- 1 block of sharp cheddar
- 1/2 block of pepper jack

Preparation
Step 1
In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 8 minutes, stirring frequently, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain.
In 4- to 5-quart slow cooker, stir beef, water, taco seasoning, tomatoes, onion and garlic until well blended.
Cover; cook on Low heat setting 3 to 4 hours.
Cook pasta as directed on box; drain. Uncover slow cooker; stir in cream cheese until melted. Stir in pasta and shredded Cheddar cheese until well blended.
Cook uncovered on High heat 7 to 9 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
