Ingredients
- Dressing:
- 1 tbsp. Sugar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. parsley
- dash of Tabasco
- Combine in a frying pan and heat until the sugar is melted. Transfer to a bottle and let cool. Dressing will keep for up to a week in the fridge.
- Almond topping:
- 1/2 cup sliced or slivered almonds
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar

Step 1
Combine in a sugar and butter in a saucepan. Stir constantly until melted. Then add almonds. Set aside to cool. Break off to top off a green salad made from green leaf lettuce, 1 can drained mandarin oranges (or you can use strawberries) and 3 chopped green onions. Enjoy.
