- Topping:
- Lady fingers, split lengthwise
- 1/3 lb. sweet butter
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 4 egg yolks, well beaten
- 1 med. can of crush pineapple, drained
- 4 egg whites, beaten
- Whipped cream
- Chopped nuts
- Cherries

Preparation
Step 1
Line a pan with lady fingers. Mix until smooth 1/3 lb. sweet butter and the powdered sugar; add well beaten egg yolks and the pineapple. Fold in beaten egg whites. Spread over the layer of lady fingers in bottom of pan, then cover with another layer of lady fingers, then another layer of filling. Chill 3-4 hours. Serve topped with whipped cream, nuts and cherries.
