Ingredients
- • 1 pkg white pea beans
- • 1 tsp dry mustard
- • 1 1/2 cups – 2 cups brown sugar
- • 1 medium onion, in medium chunks
- • bacon, pork or ham to taste

Step 1
Soak white pea beans overnight. Remove any floaters. Rinse several times and then boil for 1 hour. Remove foam during boiling. Drain and rinse again.
In the mean time mix dry mustard, brown sugar, onion and meat in a crock pot. Once beans are boiled and rinsed place them in the crock pot with the other ingredients, mix well then add water to just cover beans. Bake at 200 from 10am till 5 pm.
