Step 1

1. Melt a tab of butter in a skillet.

2. Tear a hole out of the center of a piece of bread. Butter one side of the bread. Place the bread, butter side up, in the melted butter in the skillet. Crack an egg into the hole (scramble before adding to bread?).

3. After cooking on one side, the bread will be toasted. Flip over and toast on the other side, breaking the yolk of the egg to ensure it cooks fully.
