Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 C (8oz) sour cream
  • 1 C sugar
  • 6 TBL all-purpose flour, divided
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 C chopped peeled cooking apples
  • 1 unbaked pie shell (9")
  • 3 TBL butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 C packed brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1


in lg. bowl, beat eggs
add sour cream
stir in sugar, 2 TBL flour, vanilla & salt - mix well
stir in apples
pour into pie shell
bake @375 for 15 min

meanwhile, combine butter, brown sugar & remaining flour
sprinkle over top of pie
return to oven for 20-25 min or until filling is set
cool completely on wire rack
serve or cover & refrig.
