Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c fresh bread crumbs
- 1 c milk
- 1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
- 1 1/2 lbs ground pork
- 2 eggs
- 11 med onion, chopped fine
- 1 3/4 t salt
- 1/4 t allspice
- 1/8 t nutmeg
- 1/8 t pepper
- 2 c beef stock
- 2 T butter, melted
- 2 T flour

Soak bread crumbs in milk for 5 min in a large mixing bowl. Add beef, pork, eggs, onion, 1 1/2 t salt, allspice, and nutmeg. Mix well. Shape into 1 in balls and place on broiler pan and bake for 15 min at 400.
Put browned meatballs in slow cooker and add 1/2 beef stock, pepper and remaining salt. Cover and cook on low 4-6 hours or high 2-3.
To thicken gravy, turn slow cooker to high, combine butter and flour to make a smooth paste. Add paste to remaining beef stock and pour into crock pot. Cook until thickened, about 45 min.
