- prepared pizza dough
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- coarse salt

Step 1
1. Oven 425 degrees
2. Dissolve baking soda in 5 cups water, boil
3. Cut pizza dough into 1/2" strips, stretch to about 6", wrap one strip around each little smoky, place on parchment.
4. Beat egg, add a little water or milk to create egg wash. Brush dough wrapped smokies with egg wash.
5. Place 6-8 smokies in boiling water and boil for 30 seconds, remove with slotted spoon and place on parchment. Sprinkle with coarse salt.
6. Bake in preheated oven and bake 15 minutes
