Ingredients
- Recipe X 3:
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- OR: OPT: 3/4 cup AP flour & 3/4 cup white whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- OPT: ADD 2 tbs Benefiber powder
- 2 cups whole milk or buttermilk
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 3 teaspoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Butter and syrup, for serving
- 2 1/4 cups flour AP or AP/WWW blend
- 3/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 cups milk or buttermilk (almond milk ok)
- 1 cup veg oil
- 3 eggs
- 4 1/2 - 6 tsp sugar
- 2 1/4 - 3 tsp vanilla ext

Preparation
Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; mix well. Add the milk, vegetable oil, egg, sugar and vanilla and mix well. Let the batter sit for 30 minutes.
Preheat a waffle iron. Brush waffle iron w melted butter
(recipe says: Do not use non-stick spray on the waffle iron; the oil in the batter will allow the waffle to release easily.)
Follow the directions on your waffle iron to cook the waffles. Serve immediately with butter and syrup.
