- 2 whole green chiles, roasted and peeled
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups Panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- Canola or corn oil

Step 1
1. Combine eggs and heavy whipping cream in a bowl and set aside. Place the all-purpose flour in a bowl.
2. Season the Panko crumbs with salt and pepper and place in a separate bowl. Dredge each chili strip in the flour, then the egg wash, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
3. Heat a skillet with 1 inch of oil to 350 degrees. Test by dropping flour into the oil. If it bubbles it is ready. Deep-fry the chilis until golden brown. Serve with creamy jalapeno dipping sauce (see recipe).
