  • 1 loaf french bread
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • TOPPING
  • 1 1/2 CUPS BROWN SUGAR
  • 1 1/2 CUPS PECANS
  • 3 STICKS BUTTER SOFT

Preparation

Step 1

slice bread into thin slices and place in a 913 pan
combine the eggs, half and half, milk, sugar, vanilla,salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg and beat well
pour over the bread cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight
heat oven to 350*
after soaking bread, combine the topping ingredients and spread over the top
bake for 40 minuter
serve warm with syrup
