Mississippi Roast

Not quite sure why this is called Mississippi Roast, but the flavors from the ranch dressing and pepperoncini's make this an amazing main dish. Serve with mashed or roasted potatoes.

Ingredients
- 3 pound roast (chuck, sirloin tip, or rump)
- 1 package Hidden Valley ranch dressing mix
- 1 package McCormick au jus gravy mix
- 1 stick butter
- 4-5 jarred pepperoncini peppers, plus a little juice
- Mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, or egg noodles for serving

Preparation
Step 1
Sear the roast (optional) and then place it in crock pot.
Add the remaining ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook on low for 6-1/2 to 8 hours, until the roast is tender.
