Ingredients
- 1 (12 oz)pkg semisweet chocolate pieces (2 cups)
- 2 oz unsweetened chocolate, cut up
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- Dash of salt
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 4 oz semisweet chocolate, melted

Preparation
Step 1
Lightly grease a cookie sheet; set aside. In a heavy medium saucepan cook and stir 1 cup of the chocolate pieces, the unsweetened chocolate and butter over low heat until melted. Transfer to a large bowl; cool slightly. Meanwhile, stir together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add eggs, sugar and vanilla to the slightly cooled chocolate mixture. Using a wooden spoon, beat until combined. Stir in the flour mixture, the remaining semisweet chocolate pieces and the chopped nuts.
Drop dough by a heaping tsp 2" apart onto the prepared cookie sheet. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 8-10 min or until edges are firm and surface is dull and cracked.
Cool on a cookie sheet for 1 min. Transfer cookies to a wire rack; cool. Drizzle cookies with the melted semisweet chocolate.
