Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground chuck
  • 1 pound ground Italian Pork Sausage
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 teaspoon roasted dried garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese mixed with 1/2 cup half & half
  • 3 eggs scrambled
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups dried bread cubed

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F.

Place the beef into a mixing bowl, and season with salt, pepper, onion, dried garlic, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, and Worcestershire sauce; mix well. Add the ricotta, Parmesan cheese, eggs, combine half & half-ricotta with dried bread. Mix everything until evenly blended, then hand roll until sticky into 1 1/2-inch meatballs, brown meatballs in butter all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Place onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake for 25 minutes. Add to your favorite sauce.
