Crispy Peanut Butter Squares

Ingredients
- 2 c. corn flakes
- 2 c. rice krispies
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 12 oz. butterscotch chips
- 6 - 8 oz. chocolate chips
- 2 T. heavy cream

Preparation
Step 1
Spray an 8 X 8 pan with non-stick spray.
Place butterscotch chips and peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 45 second increments, stirring every 45 seconds, until melted and smooth.
Add cornflakes and rice krispies. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan.
In another microwave safe bowl, combine chips and heavy cream. Melt until smooth and creamy. Spread over top of cereal mixture.
Place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Remove the pan from the refrigerator and cut into 12 squares. The bars will not be set at this point, but cutting them now will make it easier to cut later. Place the pan back in the refrigerator for another hour. Recut and refrigerate or freeze bars.
