Garlic and Cheese Crostini

These toasts are topped with a light sprinkling of minced garlic, olive oil, and a sharp Pecorino Romano before being baked. Garlicky and salty these make a great appetizer for parties.

Ingredients
- 24 (1/3-inch thick) baguette slices (from a baguette at least 14 inches long)
- 1/4 cup olive oil, divided
- 3/4 cup of grated Pecorino Romano (other cheese can be used)
- 5 large cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped flat-leaf parsley

Preparation
Step 1
1. Arrange bread slice on 4 inch rack, brush tops with olive oil (3 tablespoons)
2. Stir together remaining olive oil, cheese, garlic, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle each slice with 1 teaspoon of cheese mixture. Mounding it slightly.
3. Cook on power level high for 4-5 minutes until cheese starts to melt. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
