Ingredients

  • 4 1/2

    cup sugar

  • 1 1/2

    cup margarine

  • 12-oz. can evaporated milk

  • 3

    6-oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1

    tsp. Vanilla extract

  • 13-oz jar marshmallow creme

  • 2

    cups chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions

In a large, heavy saucepan over medium high heat, combine sugar, margarine and evaporated milk. Bring to a rolling boil; boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add remaining ingredients. Stir until smooth and chocolate in melted. Pour onto a greased 15“ x 10” jelly-pan. Let stand overnight, or until firm. Cut one-inch squares. Makes 5 pounds.
