Ingredients
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery ribs, chopped
- 1/4 c butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 c flour
- 8 c chicken broth
- 3 c wild rice, cooked
- 2 c cubed chicken breast
- 1 c fat-free evaporated milk

Preparation
Step 1
In a large saucepan, saute the onions, celery and carrots in butter until tender. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in flour until blended. Add mixture to the slow cooker then add the broth, rice, chicken and milk. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on LOW for 5-6 hours.
