Ingredients
- 6 potatoes
- 2 garlic gloves crushed
- 1 cup shredded swiss or white cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/3 cup homo milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
If making this dish for a large group it is a good idea to partially cook the potatoes first.
-Grease 13x9 pan with butter
-In a sauce pan combine whipped cream, milk, salt, pepper and garlic. Cook until bubbles begin to form around the edge of the sauce pan. Do not let boil.
-Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
-Peel and thinly slice the potatoes and pat dry with a paper towel.
-Layer half of the potatoes in the baking dish, top with half of the cream and half of the cheese.
-Repeat the layer.
-Bake covered for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 25 minutes.
-Let stand for 5-10 minutes.
